Out-of-Network Benefits
Many insurance plans provide out-of-network reimbursement for physical therapy services. We can provide a detailed superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. In many cases, working with an out-of-network provider can be more cost-effective than paying for care limited by insurance coverage.
Georgia Law on Direct Access to Physical Therapy
Under Georgia law, patients have the right to access physical therapy services directly without a physician's referral. You can begin treatment immediately, saving time and simplifying the process of getting the care you need. However, direct access is limited to 8 visits or 21 days, whichever comes first. After this period, a referral may be required to continue care. If you have questions about direct access, we are happy to assist.
